The body–mind–brain connection

Our Philosophy

Memory doesn’t live in the brain alone. How clearly you think and remember depends on three systems working together, and when one falters, the others feel it.

Three systems, one memory

Brain. Blood flow, inflammation, nerve health and brain chemistry shape how memories are stored and recalled.

Body. Blood sugar, hormones, thyroid, gut health, nutrients and sleep supply the fuel and signals the brain depends on.

Mind. Stress, mood, purpose and social connection change brain chemistry and how well we learn and remember.

That is why memory loss rarely has a single cause, and why we look at all three.

How we work

Functional Medicine

Looks for the root causes behind symptoms, from blood sugar and hormones to gut health, nutrition and inflammation, guided by detailed testing.

Functional Neurology

Assesses how specific areas of the brain are performing, through eye movement, balance and cognitive tests, then uses targeted brain-based exercises.

Lifestyle Medicine

Uses the proven pillars of health: sleep, movement, nutrition, stress management and social connection, to protect the brain for the long term.

Working together

Alongside your GP, never instead of them

We do not diagnose dementia; any diagnosis must come from your GP or an NHS memory assessment service. What we add is time, detail and a search for the factors that can be changed. With your permission, we share results with your GP and work alongside any specialists involved in your care.

Find the drivers

Detailed assessment and testing to uncover what is affecting your memory.

Act on them

A personal plan for nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and targeted support.

Track progress

Key measures retested over time, so you can see what is changing.
